The calculator

The numbers you type into the calculator stay in your browser. They are not sent anywhere unless you buy the $1 earnings plan, in which case they go to the checkout so the plan can be written from them.

Your email, if you ask for the free log

If you enter your email to get the free mileage log, I store it with the date and the page you signed up on and use it for one reminder before the January 15, 2027 estimated tax payment. The list is deleted after that reminder, by January 31, 2027. It is never sold or shared. To delete your address sooner, enter it below and it is removed at once.

Counting visits and clicks

Page views are counted with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. When you click a link to the tracker, the site records which button it was, the page and a one-way hash of your browser's user agent, so I can tell which parts of a page are useful. No name, email or IP address is stored with a click.

Purchases

The tracker and the $1 plan are both sold through Stripe. Payment details go to Stripe, and this site never sees them. Stripe's privacy policy covers what it collects.

Ads and affiliate links

If this site shows ads, they are served by Google, which may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com. Some links to products on other stores may be affiliate links, which pay this site a small commission at no extra cost to you.
